Client charged with Murder, Armed Robbery, Conspiracy and Possession of a Weapon During Commission of a Violent Crime. Obtained Not Guilty verdict on all charges at trial despite co-defendant and eye-witness testifying against client and murder weapon being conclusively determined as belonging to client.

Client charged with Burglary in the First Degree, Kidnapping, Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature, and Grand Larceny. Victim testified at trial that client invaded her home, held her against her will, assaulted her to the point of needing to be hospitalized for several days, and stole thousands of dollars in jewelry and other items. Because of client’s prior record, client was facing mandatory life in prison without possibility of parole. Obtained acquittal at jury trial for client of all charges.

Client was charged in federal drug conspiracy and proceeded to trial with three other co-defendants. Obtained acquittal at trial. Client was only one of four on trial who was found not guilty.

Client charged with Armed Robbery, Carjacking and Kidnapping after having been picked by alleged victim from photo line-up. After convincing the prosecutor that the victim lacked sufficient credibility, the prosecutor dismissed all charges.

Client was charged with 2 counts of attempting to obtain drugs by fraud after presenting false prescription to pharmacist. After I proved to the prosecutor that my client had been duped by her co-defendant into thinking that the prescription was valid, the prosecutor dismissed all charges.

Client, while being represented by another attorney, had pleaded guilty to two counts of Distributing Crack Cocaine and had been sentenced to 10 years in prison. After convincing Court that prior counsel had been ineffective, convictions and sentence were overturned.

Client, while being represented by another attorney, was convicted at trial of two counts of obtaining prescription drugs by fraud. After convictions were affirmed on direct appeal, client hired Mr. Gibson to try to nevertheless get convictions overturned. Mr. Gibson, after proving that prior counsel was ineffective, got the trial court to overturn both convictions and order a new trial. The State appealed the overturning of the convictions, and Mr. Gibson then successfully convinced the Appellate Court to affirm the lower court ruling and send the case back for a new trial. Finally, once the matters had been remanded back to the trial court for a new trial, Mr. Gibson convinced the prosecutor to dismiss all charges.
